Why You Should Go to College?

Why go to college? That is the question we often ask ourselves before embarking on this four-year, life-changing, expensive, and rewarding experience. This thought creeps into your mind before you decide to make this decision. According to NC Plan for College, there are “8 Reasons Why You Should Go to College: Earn More Money, Break Out of Your Shell, Gain New Skills, Find Your Direction, Live a Happier and Healthier Life, Expand Your Career Options, See the World, and Get Involved.”

Each of these reasons provides justification for attending a higher education institute. Now, what if this option seemed impossible due to the financial burden? This is where NCEKC is able to assist families. With financial support, achieving your goals at a high education institute is possible.

Planning and preparing for college can be critical in determining the success of a student. Selecting a university, major, place to live on campus, and financial funding option can all help direct the course of your college career. Working with your parents, college counselors, teachers, and role models are critical in finding the right balance for all life factors and developing a realistic plan to achieve all of your goals.

Here at NCEKC, financial justification for attending a higher education program will be provided in an application. Thoughtful applications can result in some of the financial burdens to be relieved from a student and family. Part of our mission here at NCEKC is to provide opportunities for students to attend universities without allowing the tuition and loans to impact their financial stability long term. We encourage our candidates to apply for your university scholarships and fill out the foundation educational scholarship application.

If you have any questions regarding financial support or application questions, please visit our “Contact Us” page for contact information. We look forward to helping you with your “why” you should attend college!
