Benefits of Tutoring

Happy New Year! New Year’s resolutions are a great way to start the year off right. One way to get ahead in school this year is through tutoring.

How can tutoring benefit you? Is there a subject you are struggling in that tutoring could help with? Do you need help with SAT, ACT, additional homework assistance, reading, writing, or math?

At NCEKCF, we believe in providing the opportunity of additional resources and allowing our applicants the chance to meet with a tutor. Tutors can simply provide extra help with homework or subject matter expertise.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, virtual or hybrid learning has become a norm for many schools. Tutoring can provide the opportunity to ensure you/ your child is staying on track for their grade level or helping the student gain additional learning time outside of the classroom. Scholarship options for virtual tutoring are available as well as in person tutoring.

Complete the following steps if you are interested in a tutoring scholarship:

1. Apply for a NCEKCF scholarship

2. Explain why you believe tutoring would be beneficial

3. Talk with a NCEKCF team member to develop a success plan for your tutoring

4. Meet with a NCEKCF team member regarding tutoring updates or any additional resources that are needed
