On October 19th, we had the chance to attend an event put on by one of our newest partners, Student Sponsor Partners. This NYC based organization hosted their “Fall Back Reunion” as a way to bring together board members, fundraise, and encourage new members. At this event we had the chance to hear from a current student in the program as well as an alumni from the program. All of the presentations that evening were inspiring and spoke to the effort that goes into the program, and the results that come out of the program.
We look forward to our partnership with Student Sponsor Partners as we close out this year. We believe the support SSP provides their students is critical to their success. SSP provides students with a mentor that will coach and guide the students, throughout their schooling. We are excited to see the success of our students, and provide support for these students throughout their academic careers. We look forward to continuing our mission to provide opportunities for students to help break the cycle of poverty through education.
